Cook Mom a Three-Course Special for Mother’s Day with Secret Ingredient!

14 April 2014- Secret Ingredient (SI), Hong Kong’s first ready-to-cook delivery service, has made a three-course menu that will sweep mom off her feet:

Pan-fried Pink Snapper Fillets, on a bed of a wholesome Chickpea, Kale & Pancetta Fricassee, paired with a classic Cherry Crumble Pie dessert.

“I designed this menu with every family in mind. We have men who tell us they use Secret Ingredient to give their pregnant wives some reprieve from a busy day and well as provide a nutritious meal for their growing family. We have parents who send us pictures of their children who love using Secret Ingredient because they take pride in that they can help mom make Sunday dinner for the whole family,” said SI Head Chef Jesse Teh.

“Our Mother’s Day menu is rich with quality ingredients as well as it’s playfully simple that anyone from mom, dad, or even the kids can create,” added Chef Jesse.

To put a cherry on top, Secret Ingredient is adding two heart-shaped Cherry Crumble Pies from Tai Tai Pie Pies. These were created specifically for this holiday and are only available to Secret Ingredient customers.

Families purchasing this dish can also expect additional ‘secret treats’ from the brand within each bag.

All these ingredients for a successful Mother’s Day combined are valued at $450 HKD for two-person meal.

“Mother’s Day is a holiday to celebrate mom and all she does. Sure, you can take her to the movies or you can cook SI and save yourself time to play games together as a family. Yes, you can buy her an expensive dinner… or you can make the same three-course meal, because she deserves the same special care she gives you everyday,” says founder Max Von Poelnitz.

“Whatever you do, just make sure to give her an experience she won’t forget.”
